Prefabricated Garage in Garden City, Kansas
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a customer located in Garden City, Kansas, in mid-June, 2016.
Crafted from top-quality steel components, the durable and low-maintenance building stands 40’x80’x16’ once fully erect, and it now serves as a shop for its owner. It is covered and protected from above by a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant metal Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch. Inside the metal shop building are (3) framed openings, which include (2) 12’x14’ openings and (1) 3070 opening.
Additionally, this building boasts a wind speed rating of 90 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs., inclusions that were made with the variable climate and weather patterns of Garden City and the surrounding region in mind. A city set within Finney County in west-central Kansas, Garden City is situated about 82 miles outside Oakley and about 52 miles from Dodge City.

Steel Building in Kelso, Washington
Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered steel building on behalf of a customer in Kelso, Washington, in January of 2020.
Rugged, comfortable and insulated, the Saddle Tan-colored building is ideal for life in the Pacific Northwest, and when erect, it stands 40’x60’x16’ in size. Undergoing use as a shop, the building combines rugged durability with impressive energy efficiency, and it has a roof comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel paneling sitting overhead that offers a slight 1:12 pitch.
Offering easy access inside the metal shop are (3) framed openings, which include (1) 3070 walk door opening, (1) 12’x14’ overhead door opening harboring (1) 12’x14’ overhead door, and (1) 10’x10’’ opening enclosing (1) 10’x10’ door.
Installed within the roof of the prefabricated workshop is a layer of R-13 insulation, while another layer of R-10 fiberglass insulation sits within the shop’s walls. The insulation lowers the building’s energy expenses, and it also helps create more accommodating work environment. Other notable climate-related project characteristics include a 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.
Located in southwestern Washington state, the city of Kelso is part of Cowlitz County and the Longview, Washington, metro area. It sits near the base of Mount St. Helens, roughly 125 miles south of Seattle.

Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this preconstructed metal building in Pick City, North Dakota, in January of 2020.
Designed to hold its own against extreme temperatures and weather patterns, the building currently functions as a shop and features durable, top-of-the-line steel construction. When erect, it is 50’x60’x16’ in size and has high overhead clearance and a wide clear span that maximize usable space.
The roof of the metal shop has a 3:12 pitch and is comprised of hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel sheeting, and (3) framed openings offer convenient access inside. Found throughout the workshop are (2) 16’x14’ overhead door openings and (1) 3’4”x7’2” walk door. The steel building also features several customizations added with regard for the climate characteristics of Pick City and the surrounding landscape, among them a 35-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.
Home to just a few hundred residents, Pick City is a part of North Dakota’s Mercer County. It sits about 64 miles south of Minot and roughly 172 miles outside Williston.

Offering strength, durability and easy accessibility, the building now functions as a shop and stands an expansive 80’x125’x16’ in size once erect. Comprised of rugged, fire-resistant steel components, it boasts an attractive, Ash Gray exterior, while a hardwearing roof made of Galvalume steel paneling sits overhead, offering a modest 1:12 pitch.
The building has a total of (11) framed openings throughout in a wide array of sizes. Included are (5) 3070 walk door openings, (2) 3040 door openings, (1) 6070 walk door opening, (2) 8’x10’ framed openings enclosing (2) 9’x10’ doors and finally, (1) 12’x12’ framed openings housing (1) 12’x12’ door.
Several additional customizations, among them a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 10-pound snow load, help better adapt the steel shop for its environment. Part of the Greenville – Mauldin – Easley metro area, the city of Travelers Rest sits between the Blueridge Mountains and the city of Greenville, in the Upstate region’s Greenville County.
