Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered metal shop building in Paradise, California, in November of 2019.

Highly energy efficient and engineered to endure, the building features top-of-the-line steel construction and is now in use as a shop. Offering unmatched durability, it stands 30’x40’x12’ and has a wide clear span that makes the most of available space. The steel shop’s rugged, corrosion-resistant roof has a 2:12 pitch and is comprised of long-lasting Galvalume steel panels, and within that roof is a layer of R-19 insulation, which maximizes energy efficiency and, as a result, lowers energy bills. Also helping is a layer of R-13 insulation installed in the shop’s walls.

Found throughout the metal workshop are (6) framed openings, among them (1) 12’x10’ overhead door opening, (1) 3070 walk door opening and (4) 3030 window openings that allow sunlight in, making for a more pleasant interior environment. Other accommodations that maintain compliance with local building codes and regulations include a 20-pound snow load and a 110-mph wind speed rating.
