Metal Building in North Liberty, Iowa

Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered metal building in North Liberty, Iowa, in January of 2017.

Crafted using top-of-the-line steel components, the durable, easy to maintain building stands 80’x125’x19’ in size and now serves as a shop. Its roof has a 1:12 pitch and is made of highly corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal, and inside the shop are (7) framed openings varying in size and function. Featured are (3) 14’x13’ openings, (1) 24’x15’ opening, (1) 20’x13’ opening and (2) 3070 openings, each equipped with one of (2) 3070 knock-down doors.

Additional project features include a wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 25 lbs., accommodations made out of respect for the variable climate of the North Liberty area and the distinct seasonal differences experienced throughout much of Iowa. A suburb of Iowa City, North Liberty is set within eastern Iowa’s Johnson County. It lies about 61 miles outside Davenport and roughly 20 miles outside the city of Cedar Rapids.

Steel Building in Indianapolis, Indiana

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Indianapolis, Indiana, in early January of 2017.

Attractive, low maintenance and energy efficient, the building is light stone in color and now serves as a shop for its owner. It stands 40’x120’x14’ in size, and it is protected overhead by a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch. Inside the metal shop building are (4) framed openings, which include (2) 12’x12’ openings and (2) 3070 openings.

Installed in the structure’s roof and walls is R-10 fiberglass insulation, which reduces energy bills considerably while enhancing interior comfort year-round. A snow load of 20 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 115 mph are additional project features, and they were added in consideration of the four distinct seasons and variable weather patterns characteristic of the region. Indiana’s state capital, the city of Indianapolis sits about 172 miles outside Evansville and about 77 miles from Terre Haute.

It stands 40’x50’x14’ in size and features an open, clear-span design, while a roof constructed from Galvalume metal panels sits overhead, offering a 1:12 pitch.

The shop offers easy accessibility, thanks to (2) 12’x10’ framed openings and (1) 3070 walk door opening, and it also features several accommodations added with regard to the Gray area’s four distinct seasons. These include a 115-mph wind load and a 35-pound snow load. Situated along the West Nishnabotna River, Gray is a small, sparsely populated community that falls within Audubon County. The area lies roughly 10 miles north of Audubon and about 24 miles north of Brayton.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this durable, multifunctional pre-engineered metal shop building in Fremont, Wisconsin, in June of 2019.

Constructed using premium-quality steel parts, the metal building is in use as a shop and merges an attractive and low-maintenance exterior with near-endless functionality. Once raised, the steel building stands 60’x80’x14’ in size, and it boasts a bold, Rustic Red exterior and a complementing Burnished Slate-colored roof with a 2:12 pitch.

Spacious and versatile thanks to its wide clear-span, the building provides a reliable, all-season space to work, store assets or inventory, or service vehicles or machinery, and it has (2) 20’x12’ framed openings that offer easy access into the space. Other notable features and customizations include a snow load of 40 pounds and a wind rating of 115 mph; inclusions made with respect for the climate characteristics of Fremont as well as the building code requirements in place at the address.

Energy efficient and engineered to last, the building currently functions as a shop, and once raised, it stands 50’x80’x16’. It boasts a broad, clear-span design that maximizes usable interior space and high overhead clearance, which makes it ideal for a wide range of different uses. The roof of the shop is comprised of rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 3:12 pitch, while (3) framed openings serve as additional customizations. Included are (2) 16’x14’ overhead door openings and (1) 3070 walk door opening housing (1) 3070 walk door.

A high-performance insulation package serves as another notable feature, with a layer of R-30 insulation installed in the roof of the building and a layer of R-25 insulation installed in the walls. Other customizations include a 115-mph wind load and a 15-pound snow load; inclusions made to keep the metal workshop in compliance with building code requirements.

A small community in south-central Kansas, Cunningham is a part of Kingman County. It lies about 62 miles west of Wichita and roughly 34 miles north of Medicine Lodge.

Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal building kit for a customer in Elkhart, Indiana, in May of 2019.

Spacious, multifunctional and energy efficient, this building features durable, damage-resistant steel construction and when raised, it stands an expansive 100’x288’x16’ in size. Used for miscellaneous purposes, it has a rugged, corrosion-resistant steel roof with a 1:12 pitch overhead, offering reliable protection from the elements, pests and other sources of damage. It also counts (5) 10’x12’ ridge vents among its key features, which help extend the life of the roof while improving the building’s energy efficiency.

Also making the metal shop highly energy efficient is a high-performance insulation package. The steel shop has a layer of R-29 insulation in its roof, while another layer of R-25 insulation sits within its walls. While it helps lower energy costs, the insulation package also helps with noise control and creates a more comfortable environment for shop users.

Located in northern Indiana, the city of Elkhart is part of Elkhart County. The area lies about 15 miles east of South Bend, Indiana, and about 110 miles east of Chicago, Illinois.
