Metal Building Outlet secured this pre-engineered metal shop building kit for a customer in San Antonio, Texas.

Offering optimum strength and durability, the building currently functions as a shop, and once fully erect, it stands 60’x100’x12’ in size. Comprised of rugged, long-lasting steel components, the steel shop features an open, clear-span design, and its roof has a 3:12 pitch and is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume metal panels.

Additional building customizations include (3) framed openings; (2) 3’4”x7’2” openings and (1) 6’4”x7’2” openings; and several supplemental accommodations added with regard for building code requirements and climate considerations. Such enhancements include a 5-pound snow load and a 120-mph wind speed rating.

Part of south-central Texas, the city of San Antonio is the second-most-populated in the state and a part of Bexar County. The large city sits about 75 miles southwest of Austin and about 190 miles west of Houston.
