Offering optimum strength and durability, the building stands 60’x120’x20’ in size once erect and currently functions as a shop building. Spacious and versatile, it boasts high overhead clearance, making it well-suited for warehouse, manufacturing or any number of other uses, and a wide clear span that eliminates unnecessary interior obstructions.
The roof of the building, which has a 3:12 pitch, resists corrosion and is comprised of robust Galvalume steel panels. The prefabricated shop also has (13) framed openings throughout that enhance accessibility, among them (8) 4’x7’ framed openings, (3) 12’x12’ openings and (2) 3’x3’ windows.
In consideration of the typical climate characteristics of the Watkins area as well as the building code requirements the buyer had to comply with, a 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating serve as additional customizations. A sparsely populated area, Watkins has land in Adams and Arapahoe counties. The community lies about 25 miles east of Denver and about 16 miles east of Aurora.

In use as a shop, it boasts an attractive, Light Stone-colored outside, and overhead, its roof is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel panels and has a 1:12 pitch.
A high-performance insulation package lines the steel building’s roof and walls, with a layer of R-25 fiberglass insulation installed within each. The insulation package helps the interior of the space maintain consistent temperatures, and it also results in substantial energy savings for the building owner over time. Other key features and customizations include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a snow load of 30 pounds.

Offering the structural integrity Maine buildings demand, the building features premium-quality steel construction, and its owners currently use it as a shop. Once raised, it stands 30’x60’x16’ in size, and it features a broad, clear-span design and high ceilings that maximize usable space.
A heavy-duty Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead, protecting the interior of the building from the New England elements and corrosion, and (4) framed openings ranging in size serve as additional customizations. Included are (2) 3’4”x7’2” openings, (1) 14’x14’ overhead opening and (1) 16’x10’ opening. Because the Parsonsfield area is prone to heavy precipitation, particularly during the winter months, the building features a number of additional climate-related enhancements, among them a 120-mph wind speed rating and a high, 90-pound snow load.
