Steel Shop Building in Richfield, Utah

Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered steel shop building in Richfield, Utah, in April of 2019.

Offering optimal strength, durability and energy efficiency, the building features a bright Polar White exterior, and once erect, it offers a finished size of 60.5’x90’x27’. Now used as a shop, the building boasts a clear-span design that maximizes interior space, and it also features high ceilings, which enhance overall functionality.

A rugged, hardwearing Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch helps protect the interior of the workshop from the Utah elements, and distributed throughout the metal building are (11) framed openings varying in terms of size and purpose. Featured are (3) 18’x16’ overhead openings, (7) 3070 openings enclosing (7) 3070 walk doors and (1) 3030 window opening.

R-19 insulation within the workshop’s roof and walls helps make for a comfortable interior environment, regardless of time of year or outside temperatures, and it also lowers energy bills associated with the property. Other supplemental features added out of respect for Utah’s variable climate and the building codes currently guiding construction at the jobsite are a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 43-pound snow load.

The largest city in south-central Utah, Richfield falls within Sevier County. The community sits about 159 miles from Salt Lake City and about 164 miles outside St. George.
