Prefabricated Steel Garage Building With Insulation in Westcliffe, CO

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel garage for a client in Westcliffe, Colorado, in mid-July of 2024.

Eye-catching on the outside and functional and versatile on the inside, the steel garage has 1,260 square feet of unobstructed interior space that can easily fit four or five vehicles. Carlsbad Canyon-colored exterior paint with Brown trim and wainscoting gives the metal garage nice curb appeal, while a 2’ overhang on all four sides creates covered storage space while protecting the garage’s outside walls from moisture and damage.

On the inside, a fiberglass insulation package helps regulate interior temperatures, keeping cars stored inside ready for use at a moment’s notice. The roof and walls both feature 6” of R-19 insulation, with the fiberglass blankets also muffling noise and lowering energy bills in addition to enhancing inside comfort.

Other metal garage customizations include a large window and multiple door openings in several sizes and styles that allow easy access to vehicles or other assets without having to move other cars or stored items out of the way. The garage’s roof also features a 5:12 pitch, helping rain or snow drain off easily without compromising the building’s structural integrity.
