Prefabricated Steel Commercial Building in Mountain Home, Idaho

Metal Building Outlet was the proud supplier of this pre-engineered steel commercial building, sending the building kit to the southwestern Idaho community of Mountain Home in July of 2025.

Spacious, versatile and customized to the owner’s liking, the Light Stone commercial building with matching trim covers more than 620 square feet and has partial sheeting on two sides and no sheeting on the others, creating a partially open-air environment. A 75”x75” roof hatch with a curb allows for easy access to the roof, with a 6’x6’ roof opening with a 1000# point load making it easy for workers to perform inspections or maintenance services on the roof.

The metal commercial building’s back side wall has a 2’ overhang that creates a covered outdoor entry or storage space, and gutters and downspouts along the low side of the roof keep rain and snow from collecting on top and potentially compromising the structure’s integrity.

A hot-dipped galvanized main frame and pre-galvanized secondary framing maximize strength and durability, and the building also meets the building code requirements set by local authorities and the 2018 International Building Code.
