Metal Buildings in Calhan, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet sourced this pair of pre-engineered metal buildings in Calhan, Colorado in April of 2021.

Functioning as shops, the buildings are comprised of rugged, sustainable steel components and arrived at the build site partially assembled, speeding up the construction process. The first metal building stands 40’x50’x14’/11’ when raised, while the second, smaller structure is 10’x50’x13’/12’11”.

Both metal shops have heavy-duty painted steel roofs overhead, with the first shop sporting a gable roof with a 2:12 pitch and the second shop, a single-slope roof with a 1:12 pitch. There are also (2) framed openings offering access into the buildings, which include (1) 12’x12’ overhead door opening enclosing (1) 12’x12’ roll-coil door with a manual opener and (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 3070 commercial walk door with a lever lock.

Both buildings also feature 30-psf roof snow loads and 130-mph wind speed ratings in accordance with local building and engineering code requirements.
