Now serving double-duty as a shop and garage, the low-maintenance, energy-efficient steel building offers superior strength and durability and is 30’x50’x12’ in size. It has a broad clear span that maximizes usable floor space by eliminating interior columns or supports, and overhead, a gable roof with a modest 1:12 pitch provides reliable protection from the Colorado elements.
The metal shop and garage has (5) framed door openings offering access inside, among them (2) 3’x7’ walk door openings and (3) 9’x10’ overhead door openings. A 3” layer of WMP-VRR-faced R-10 insulation in the roof is another key feature, keeping heating and cooling bills low while helping prevent condensation.
In consideration of the climate patterns of Fountain and the building codes in place at the jobsite, the steel shop and garage also features a 130-mph wind speed rating and a 30-psf snow load.
