Metal Building in Central City, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered metal building in Central City, Colorado, in July of 2021.

Now in use as a residence, the steel home combines attractiveness and durability with ease-of-maintenance and functionality. When raised, it stands 40’x60’x16’x11’ and has an open, clear-span design.

Overhead, a rugged, single-slope Galvalume roof with a 1.5:12 pitch offers protection from the Colorado elements, and (3) framed door openings provide access inside the metal home. Found throughout the pre-engineered steel residence are (1) 6’4”x6’10” sliding door opening, (1) 16’x8’ overhead door opening and (1) 10’x10’ opening for a sliding door.

The metal home also has a 3’ overhang along its high wall, creating covered outdoor space, and a 1.5’ overhang along all other walls. The steel residence also features an upgraded, 108-psf snow load and a high, 140-mph wind speed rating in compliance with local building codes.
