Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Gainesville, Georgia. The customer ordered an ash gray with galvalume roof building to be used as a shop in 2012.  He gave us a positive review and reported that he used the structure for storage space as well as a shop after construction.  His shop is located in Gainesville, Georgia about 22 miles from Cumming and 41 miles away from Roswell. Conversely, Roswell, GA is an affluent suburb north of Atlanta.

The 50’x100’x20’ metal building is made by Garco.  It has 2 16’x14’ overhead doors and 2 3’x7’ walkdoors.  The Roof is insulated with R-10 insulation.

Metal Building in Lenox, Georgia

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Lenox, Georgia. The customer ordered a Nucor building to be used as a shop and storage in the town of Lenox, Georgia in 2012.  The light stone w/ galvalume roof building was planned to be constructed 54 miles away from Albany, GA and 14 miles from Tifton, GA.

The 50’x100’x16’ is a Nucor building.  It was designed with 3 12’x14’ overhead doors and 2 3’x7’ walkdoors.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Irwinton, Georgia. The customer ordered materials for a structure to double as a shop and garage to be used on his farm.

Metal Building in Seward, Alaska

This Nucor brand metal building was purchased from Metal Building Outlet in early 2013. This 45’x100’x16’ Evergreen-colored steel building has a Sagebrush-colored roof, two 12’x14’ doors. It has a wind load of 130 mph exposure C and a roof snow load of 80 lbs. The owner opted for spray foam insulation.

It shipped to Seward, Alaska a city within the Kenai Peninsula Borough that lies about 127 miles from Anchorage and 167 miles from Palmer.  From the factory in Utah, it will travel through the Port of Seattle in Washington before being loaded by forklift into a flat rate container and then ultimately making its way north to its final destination, Seward via Alaska Logistics. In addition to handling the purchase of the building, Metal Building Outlet will provide the framework for its field-located framed openings.

Seward is located in one of Alaska’s warmer areas near the coastline. It is considered the ninth most lucrative fisheries port in the United States and also experiences a thriving tourism industry.

Foam Insulated Panels for a Building in Point Lay, Alaska

These Kingspan brand foam insulation panels were purchased from Metal Building Outlet by G & S Management in March of 2012 and were installed into the existing Point Lay Power Plant.

The large materials purchase included 3,684 square feet of 6″ R-49 Regal White Panels and 6,087 square feet of 6″ R-49 Dove Gray Panels for the walls and an additional 10,366 square feet of 6″ R-48 Slate Blue Standing Seam Roof Panels. These foam insulated panels offer some of the highest R-values available resulting in tremendous energy savings for residents and businesses in Alaska. The Point Lay area particularly is well-known for its polar tundra climate and temperatures that range from about -27°F to 56°F in an average year.

Point Lay is located on the shores of the Chukchi Sea, 151 miles from Noatak and 182 miles from the Cape Krusenstern National Monument. The foam insulation panels were shipped directly from the factory to the Port of Seattle in Washington from there they were shipped into Alaska via Alaska Logistics.

Steel Building in Yakutat, Alaska

The 10,426sqft Yakutat Power Plant features Kingspan brand foam insulation panels purchased from Metal Building Outlet by Sunland Development in June of 2011. It is now insulated by 5,581 square feet of 2” R-16 Tahoe Blue wall panels and 4,845 square feet of 3” R-24 Zinc Grey standing seam roof panels.

High R-values like those offer tremendous insulating power resulting in substantial energy savings and an estimated 30 percent reduction in the building’s overall energy use. In addition to providing excellent thermal performance, these panels improve air tightness and moisture control while providing building users with a comfortable, stable interior environment and a clean finished look both inside and out.

The City and Borough of Yakutat lies in lowlands along the Gulf of Alaska about 208 miles from the capital city of Juneau and 366 miles from Anchorage. Originally shipped from Modesto, California, these insulation panels made their way to the Port of Seattle in Washington before ultimately shipping into Alaska via the Alaska Marine Lines.

Built in October 2012 this Garco shop building is functional and durable. The 40’x60’x14’ has a wind rating of 85 MPH and featuring light stone colored walls and a galvalume roof. It has three doors 2 are 16’x12’ overhead doors and the third is a 3’x7’ walkdoor.  Prefabricated steel buildings are very affordable.
