Attractive, easy to maintain and highly functional, the Hawaiian blue building stands 60’x100’x16’ in size and now functions as a shop building. Crafted from long-lasting, top-of-the-line steel materials, the structure’s roof has a 1:12 pitch and is made of robust, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal.

To enhance the overall durability of the shop building given the climate and weather patterns characteristic of Payette and the surrounding landscape, an area prone to variable weather patterns, a snow load of 30 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 115 mph serve as additional features. A part of western Idaho’s Payette County, the city of Payette falls within the Ontario, OR – ID Micropolitan Statistical Area and is situated along the Payette River. Other Payette County cities and communities include Fruitland and New Plymouth.

Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal building in Rigby, Idaho, in early August of 2017.

Insulated to ensure optimal energy efficiency, the ash gray-colored structure stands 50’x60’x21’ in size, and it now serves as a shop. Within its roof, it boasts high-performing, R-32 insulation, while R-19 insulation sits within its walls. The insulation package keeps energy bills low while allowing shop users to maintain comfort, regardless of the temperature or conditions outside.

Overhead, protecting the building against corrosion and the elements, in a rugged Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch, and distributed throughout the shop are (9) framed openings differing in size. Included are (1) 18’x14’ opening, (1) 14’x14’ opening, (2) 3070 openings, (2) 3040 openings and (5) 5020 openings. The shop also features a high snow load of 43 pounds and a wind speed rating of 115 mph in consideration of the ample snowfall and variable weather patterns experienced throughout Rigby and the surrounding region.

A small city set within eastern Idaho’s Jefferson County, Rigby is part of the Idaho Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. Nearby communities include Annis, Garfield, Grant and Labelle.

Energy efficient and engineered to last, the building is currently in use as a shop, and once raised, it stands 50’x40’x18’ in size. High overhead clearance makes the metal building well-suited for automotive, warehouse or storage use, among others, while its rugged durability fares well in Idaho’s sometimes-harsh seasonal climate.

Ash Grey in color, the building has a broad clear span, making the most of usable square footage, and it also features a layer of R-13 insulation in its walls, which results in lower energy bills and a more comfortable environment for shop users. Other features include a robust and corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch and several accommodations made in adherence to local building codes, including a 60-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.
