Pair of Steel Agricultural Covers in Port Lavaca, Texas

Metal Building Outlet secured this pair of pre-engineered steel covers for a Port Lavaca-based producer of fertilizer, seed, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and similar products used in agricultural operations.

The buyer needed structures with high wind loads and Metal Building Outlet delivered, supplying the building kits for both metal covers in October of 2022. The two partially open-air steel covers provide covered outdoor space for employees to use while keeping everything underneath safe and dry, and each features attractive, Sahara Tan exterior paint with complementing Forest Green trim.

Long-lasting and low-maintenance, metal covers and prefab. metal buildings are popular among farmers, ranchers and growers looking for economical, east-to-erect buildings to use for storage, growing, work and more. These particular metal covers stand strong against the heavy winds that come through the area and comply with local building codes, which the buyer verified before finalizing the buildings’ design.
