Steel Buildings in McCall, Idaho

Metal Building Outlet supplied these steel buildings in McCall, Idaho. MBO was contracted to supply two metal building structures for a new residential wilderness retreat within the West Mountains of Idaho. We collaborated with the property owner to create a custom metal building homestead, consisting of a shophouse and garage/shed. With acres of green landscape, we designed the canopies of these buildings with an Evergreen roof, Trim and Wainscot Package. The wall sheeting consists of a warm cocoa hue that embodies the natural elements of the surrounding forest. We worked alongside the client to create the perfect space deep in the Western Idaho Mountains that would complement the unique undertones of ridge and range country.

These metal buildings also feature several customizations that make them particularly well-suited for remote mountain living. With the heavy snowfall as a weighted concern, we met and surpassed all state & local roof load requirements; every building engineered with a high 200lb canopy capacity. An additional collateral load was included to accommodate commercial hanging lights from the ceiling.

To the West of the range are the towns Council, Indian Valley, and Cambridge, Idaho. It is 10 to 15 miles wide and runs about 75 miles North-South from New Meadows, ID to Horseshoe Bend, ID. The range lies in four Idaho counties: Adams, Boise, Gem, and Valley, the majority being in Valley County. The Gem County High Point is also contained in the range and is located a few miles north of Snowbank Mountain.

This area receives an incredible amount of snow and is thus a mecca for winter recreation. Snowmobilers and skiers frequent this area, sometimes well into June in the higher regions. The West Mountains are also home to the Tamarack Ski resort near the town of Donnelly.
