Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this prefabricated metal building in Durango, Colorado, in late June of 2019.

Offering the extreme strength and durability life in the Colorado mountains demands, the building features rugged, reliable steel construction and stands 50’x60’x20’ in size. Currently undergoing use as a shop, it features high overhead clearance that improves versatility and an open, clear-span design that maximizes usable space by eliminating interior columns or supports.

The metal shop has an attractive, Ash Grey-colored exterior, and overhead, it boasts a heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch. The shop also has (4) framed openings varying in size throughout, among them (1) 2020 opening, (1) 12’x14’ opening and (2) 3070 walk door openings. Other customizations added out of respect for local building codes and climate characteristics include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a high, 65-pound snow load.

Located in southwestern Colorado, the city of Durango falls within the borders of La Plata County. The community sits roughly 45 miles east of Cortez and about 60 miles west of Pagosa Springs.
