Consisting of a roof only, the durable, hard-wearing structure is comprised of exceedingly heavy-duty Galvalume metal, and when fully erect, it stands 90’x90’x16’ in size. The roof itself offers a 1:12 pitch, and it has (16) skylights distributed throughout, allowing for ample sunlight underneath. In consideration of the typical climate and weather characteristics common in and around Humble, a high, 135-mph wind speed rating serves as an additional project feature.

A part of the Houston metropolitan area, the city of Humble lies within Harris County, in southeastern Texas. It lies about 20 miles from Houston and about 45 miles outside Katy, Texas.

Prefabricated Metal Building in Fort Worth, Texas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building for a customer in Fort Worth, Texas, in late January of 2016.

Designed for supreme energy efficiency, the building stands 40’x60’x22’ in size and is constructed using premium-grade steel components. Now used as an office, the building has a rugged, painted roof overhead with a 1:12 roof pitch. Inside the steel structure are (9) framed openings varying in size and purpose; among them (1) 12’x12’ opening, (3) 3070 walk doors for convenient building access and (5) 4030 windows to maximize natural sunlight inside.

To reduce energy costs for the building, high R-value, R-30 building insulation is installed within the roof, while R-19 insulation can be found in the walls. The insulation also improves interior comfort for building users while helping muffle outside noise. Additional project features include a wind speed of 90 mph and a snow load of 5 lbs; inclusions that were made to enhance durability with respect to the climate typical of greater Fort Worth.

The fifth-largest city in Texas, Fort Worth has land within Tarrant, Denton, Parker and Wise Counties. It is located about 89 miles outside Waco and about 23 miles from Grapevine.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this metal building for a buyer in Washington County, Texas, in early July of 2014.

Featuring components by Nucor Building Systems, the large, pre-engineered metal building now serves as a warehouse. The building boasts a finished size of 50’x100’x14’, and is topped with a Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch.

The warehouse features (3) framed openings, including (1) 8’x8’ and (2) 3070 walk doors. With the climate and sometimes windy weather patterns of Washington County in mind, the metal building was constructed with a wind speed of a whopping 120 mph, and a ground snow load of 5 lbs.

Washington County, Texas is considered a part of the Brenham, Texas Micropolitan Statistical Area, which in turn is a part of the Houston-The Woodlands Metropolitan Statistical Area. It lies within east-central Texas, and is about 80 miles from Houston and 20 miles from Brenham.
