Boasting a cool roof and energy-efficient, cost-effective R-13 insulation in the roof and walls, the durable, low-maintenance building is now used as a shop. Crafted from premium components from Garco Building Systems, the building stands 21’x24’x16’ and has a 4:12 roof pitch. Inside are (2) framed openings; one 12’x10’ in size and the other housing a 3070 walk door.

Given Montana’s variable climate, the metal shop building is engineered with a wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 40 lbs.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Scooba, Mississippi. This building is used as a shop and was purchased in June 2011.

The building has many features that make it attractive and functional. The walls are a polar white and it has a galvalume roof. All the components for this sturdy shop building were manufactured by Nucor.  The dimensions are 50’x80’x16’ with a 1:12 roof pitch.  It has plenty of natural light with eight skylights. There are three 12’x14’ overhead doors on the building.

Durable, sustainable and easy to maintain, the building boasts a light stone-colored exterior, and it now functions as a shop. Crafted from premium-grade steel components, it stands 30’x41’x14’ in size, and its rugged, Galvalume Plus metal roof with a 2:12 pitch helps resist corrosion and damage.

Found throughout the steel shop are (8) framed openings varying in terms of size and purpose, among them (1) 3070 opening, (2) 10’x10’ openings, (1) 9’x8’ opening and (4) 3030 windows that let natural sunlight inside. A 140-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load serve as additional features included in consideration of New England’s distinct seasonal weather patterns and sometimes heavy annual snowfall.

Now used as a shop by Otto Candies, a leading longtime innovator in vessel design, the metal building stands 40’x55’x16’ and is covered overhead by a durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch. It is crafted from premium components from Garco Building Systems, and contains (7) framed openings of varying sizes. These include (2) 12’x12’ openings, (1) 3070 walk door and (4) 3’x10’ skylights to maximize natural sunlight inside.

Because of Des Allemands’ location near the ocean and its propensity for strong storm and occasional hurricane activity, the shop building was constructed with a very high wind speed rating of 150 mph. A part of both Lafourche and St. Charles parishes in southeastern Louisiana, Des Allemands lies about 34 miles outside New Orleans and 22 miles from Kenner.

Attractive, energy efficient and easy to maintain, the metal buildings together operate as a shop. Rugged and built to last, the first building stands 60’x125’x20’ in size, while the second stands 30’x125’x20’ once fully erect. Both structures feature durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roofs with 1:12 pitches overhead, and both buildings themselves are comprised of premium-grade steel components.

The (2) buildings contain R-13 insulation within their roofs and walls, a decision made to lower energy bills associated with the shop while helping users maintain year-round comfort. A wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 25 pounds serve as additional accommodations added with respect for the climate of Osborne and the surrounding region. Distributed between the (2) buildings are (5) framed openings, and these include (1) 30’x18’ opening enclosing (1) 30’x18’ door, (2) 3070 openings, each equipped with one of (2) 3070 walk doors, and (2) 3’x3’ windows that allow for natural sunlight inside.

Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered steel building on behalf of a customer in Kelso, Washington, in January of 2020.

Rugged, comfortable and insulated, the Saddle Tan-colored building is ideal for life in the Pacific Northwest, and when erect, it stands 40’x60’x16’ in size. Undergoing use as a shop, the building combines rugged durability with impressive energy efficiency, and it has a roof comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel paneling sitting overhead that offers a slight 1:12 pitch.

Offering easy access inside the metal shop are (3) framed openings, which include (1) 3070 walk door opening, (1) 12’x14’ overhead door opening harboring (1) 12’x14’ overhead door, and (1) 10’x10’’ opening enclosing (1) 10’x10’ door.

Installed within the roof of the prefabricated workshop is a layer of R-13 insulation, while another layer of R-10 fiberglass insulation sits within the shop’s walls. The insulation lowers the building’s energy expenses, and it also helps create more accommodating work environment. Other notable climate-related project characteristics include a 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.
