Steel Building in Manning, South Carolina

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Manning, South Carolina, in early January of 2015.

 

Durable and low-maintenance, the metal building is constructed from high-end components from Nucor Building Systems. It stands 40’x60’x14’ in size and is covered overhead by a hard-wearing galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Now used as a shop by the owner, the building boasts (4) framed openings. These include (3) 12’x12’ openings housing (3) 12’x12’ overhead doors and (1) 3070 walk door for convenient user entry and access.

 

Due to Manning’s location the metal building is engineered with a high wind speed of 115 mph. A snow load of 7 lbs. was also included at the time of construction.

 

A popular retirement destination due to its generally mild climate and ample recreational opportunities, Manning is located in central South Carolina’s Clarendon County. The city sits about 129 miles outside Charlotte and 61 miles from Columbia.

Metal Building in Fulshear, Texas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Fullshear, Texas in March, 2014.  This building features steel components from Nucor and is used as a shop about 35 miles from Houston and Cypress in Southeastern Texas.

The exterior walls of this building are burnished slate and the 1:12 pitched roof is galvalume. The total size for this shop is 50’x100’x12’. There are several doors and windows for access to the building, as well as, providing natural light. Of the 5 doors, (2) are overhead 12’x12’ and the remaining (3) are walk doors 3’x7’. The two windows are 3’x3’.

In order to withstand the high winds of Fort Bend County, this building has a high wind load 110 MPH. There is not a snow load for this shop building due to the climate of south Texas. Additionally, this building has high quality VRR-Plus faced insulation for the roof and walls with an anchor bolt package which is designed to match the base plates.

Metal Building in Ketichikan, Alaska

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Ketichikan, Alaska, about 115 miles from Prince Rupert and Terrace, Canada.

This metal shop building is constructed with quality Garco materials and has a galvalume roof.  The building has a finished size of 32’x48’x16’ and is well insulated to withstand the harsh cold conditions of the Alaska climate. The walls, roof and doors are all insulated.  The walls and roof are insulated with energy efficient R-10 insulation.  The wind load is 85 MPH.  Snow load for this building was a ground snow load of 43 PSF.

The doors of the building are both insulated. They are 14’x14’ and a 4’x7’ walk door to give easy access to the interior of the shop.
