Metal Building Outlet secured this pre-engineered metal building in Summers, Arkansas in April of 2021.
Heavily insulated and structurally sound, the building features top-quality steel construction and undergoes use as a shop. Once erect, the metal shop is an expansive 15’x100’x14’ in size and has a clear span design and high overhead clearance, creating even more usable space.
The roof of the steel shop is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume Plus steel paneling, and inside that roof is a 4” layer of insulation with WMP-VRR facing adhered to the interior-facing side. The walls of the building also contain 4” of WMP-VRR-faced fiberglass insulation, enhancing interior comfort while keeping the building’s lifelong energy expenses low.
The metal shop has (6) framed door openings in a variety of sizes that provide access in and out. A 10-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional customizations made in adherence to local building codes.
