Insulated Steel Shop & Lean-To in Oskaloosa, Iowa

Metal Building Outlet delivered this custom steel shop and lean-to to Oskaloosa, Iowa, in March of 2023.

Durable, attractive and highly energy-efficient, the clear-span steel shop with an attached metal lean-to gives the owner plenty of space to work, store vehicles and other goods, or otherwise use as desired. The roof and walls contain R-30 and R-24 Energy Saver insulation systems, respectively, with the insulation helping prevent condensation while making the buildings suitable for year-round use.

The shop and lean-to have Sahara Tan exterior paint and complementing Koko Brown trim providing nice street appeal. There are also 8’ liner panels lining the walls, giving the interior a modern, contemporary look. Other upgrades and customizations include (5) 4’x2’ windows that let natural light inside, gutters and downspouts that keep water from damaging the walls, and a transverse partition wall in the lean-to that creates a separate office area.
