Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Houston, Texas, in March of 2017.

Rugged, functional and easy to maintain, the building is comprised of premium-quality steel components, and it stands 100’x200’x22’ in size. A rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch protects the building, which is used for automotive purposes, from above, and inside the metal structure are (14) framed openings. Included are (12) 14’x16’ framed openings enclosing (12) 14’x16’ roll-up doors and (2) 3070 openings enclosing (2) 3070 steel walk doors.

The steel building also boasts a high wind speed rating of 140 mph, an enhancement made in consideration of the Houston area’s penchant for strong storm and occasional tornado activity. A part of southeastern Texas’ Harris County, the city of Houston is the fourth-most populated city in the nation. Located not far from the Gulf of Mexico, Houston sits 165 miles east of Austin and about 51 miles outside Galveston.
