Steel Shop Building in Littleton, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet was the proud supplier of this prefabricated steel shop building in Littleton, Colorado, in late August of 2019.

Energy efficient and easy to maintain, the building features premium-grade steel construction, and its owner now uses it as a shop. Combining rugged durability with ample versatility, the shop stands 25’x40’x13’ in size once erect, while a corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 4:12 pitch offers protection against the Colorado elements from above.

In its roof and walls, the steel workshop has R-10 fiberglass insulation, which helps the structure maintain consistent temperatures while lowering associated energy bills. The shop also features (4) framed openings throughout, which include (1) 12’x11’ opening, (1) 3’4”x7’2” opening and (2) 3’x3’ windows that allow natural light inside. A 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind load serve as additional customizations made with respect for the climate characteristics and building codes of the area.
