Custom Prefabricated Steel Storage Building in Elizabeth, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet sent the metal building kit for this pre-engineered steel storage building to an addiction treatment center in Elizabeth, Colorado, in February 2024, giving the facility ample storage space for furniture, equipment, supplies and similar goods while protecting them from the Colorado elements.

Custom-designed in line with the client’s needs and preferences, the metal storage building offers 3,680 square feet of ground-floor storage space and another 1,440 square feet of storage space on a second-story mezzanine supported by two center posts. Spacious, well-lit and energy efficient, the storage building has 18 windows that allow plenty of natural light in and R-30 Energy Saver insulation systems in the roof and walls.

The high R-value insulation blankets lower the heating and cooling costs associated with the storage building, and they also muffle noise and serve as an extra barrier against condensation. A single-sided partition wall breaks up the interior of the building, creating designated areas for specific types of storage, and extensions on two sides (one a 4’ extension, and the other, an 8’ one) create covered outdoor storage space for items that aren’t temperature-sensitive.

On the outside, painted walls and 3’ of complementing wainscoting with 26-gauge PBR sheeting add visual interest to the building, helping it blend well with the other structures already on the property.
