Prefabricated Steel Shop Building & 2 Lean-Tos in Brush, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet sent the building kits for this pre-engineered metal shop and two lean-tos to the northeastern Colorado community of Brush in mid-August 2024.
Designed with the look and feel of a traditional barn, the project includes one fully enclosed, climate-controlled main shop building flanked on either side by an open-air lean-to. Custom-designed to meet the owner’s needs and aesthetic preferences, the main shop has Burnished Slate walls, a Copper Metallic Roof and Black architectural trim, with two 3’x3’ cupolas adding a classic, barn-style touch to the rooftop.
The roof, itself, features a standing-seam upgrade, while 1’ overhangs on all sides protect the exterior walls from the elements. Inside the roof is a 6”, R-19 fiberglass insulation system that regulates interior temperatures, creating a comfortable, welcoming environment the owners can utilize year-round. The insulation has WR-R facing acting as a protective cover over the blankets, while a taped tab prevents air leaks.
Offering great curb appeal on the outside and impressive performance and detail on the inside, this pre-engineered steel shop delivers in terms of space, versatility and style.
