Prefabricated Steel Custom Commercial Building in Swanton, Ohio

Metal Building Outlet supplied the pre-engineered metal building kit for this custom steel commercial building, sending the components to a client in Swanton, Ohio, in May of 2025.

Designed for easy roof access, the building features a custom 75”x75” roof hatch with a curb and a 6’x6’ framed roof opening that allows workers to make their way to the rooftop for maintenance, inspections or HVAC servicing. The metal commercial building lacks sheeting until the 12’ mark on two sides and lacks sheeting entirely on the other two, creating a covered, well-ventilated work or storage space. Two of the walls also feature 2’ eave extensions that provide additional protection from the elements.

The steel commercial building boasts a hot dipped galvanized metal frame and pre-galvanized secondary framing, resulting in optimal strength and durability, and gutters and downspouts line the building’s back side wall, helping rain or snow slide off easily. On the outside, the building has Light Stone walls and a matching roof and trim that give it a clean, professional look and feel, and it also complies with OBC-24 building code requirements, ensuring it’s well-suited for life in northwestern Ohio.
