Pre-Engineered Steel Commercial Building in Cypress, Texas

Metal Building Outlet sent the building kit for this pre-engineered metal commercial building to Cypress, Texas, in early June 2024.

Designed and engineered for maximum stability and energy efficiency, the insulated, climate-controlled commercial building spans more than 14,325 square feet and holds up against heavy foot traffic and industrial use. The building’s entry area has a hip roof design with a 6:12 pitch and a 3’ bump out that creates a little extension.

Custom-designed to meet the owner’s needs and wants, the steel commercial building has gutters and downspouts that keep moisture from collecting on the rooftop or seeping inside, strengthening structural integrity. A high-performance, high R-value insulation package is another smart addition, with an R-38 banded insulation system in the roof and an R-25 Energy Saver fiberglass insulation system lining the walls.

The steel building features Kynar/PVDF paint as required by the city of Cypress and features 14’ overhangs that create covered outdoor storage or workspaces. It also allows for future upgrades, including exterior rock and stucco finishes and added structural support for an aluminum front canopy. Spacious, flexible and easy to erect in comparison to other building types, this prefabricated metal commercial building supports a wide variety of business needs while needing only minimal maintenance in return.
