Prefabricated Steel Agricultural Building & Lean-To in Montgomery City, MO

Metal Building Outlet sent the building kits for this pre-engineered metal agricultural and feed storage building and its attached metal lean-to to Montgomery City, Missouri, in mid-June, 2025.

The project included a large, clear-span metal farm building spanning 20,000 square feet and a lean-to that attaches to the main building’s back side wall, providing another 4,400 square feet of covered space. Durable and built to last, the buildings’ rugged steel construction protect animal feed, farm equipment and anything else stored inside from moisture, pests and potential theft, keeping critical supplies safe, dry and protected from the elements year-round.

Spacious and well-lit, the steel agricultural building and attached metal lean-to have Cool White exterior paint with contrasting Black roof and trim packages, and they also feature 3’6” of Black wainscoting that adds visual interest to their exteriors. Additional customizations include five large windows that let in natural light, sculptured gutters and downspouts that help prevent leaks and water damage, and a drip-stop felt liner installed under the roof sheeting of both buildings

Designed to house feed and farm goods, guard against leaks and otherwise support and streamline farm operations, this prefabricated metal agricultural building and lean-to give the owners a sustainable, low-maintenance storage and work space well-suited for the demands of modern farming.
