Prefabricated Multipurpose Metal Building in Carlton, Minnesota

Metal Building Outlet sent the building kit for this prefabricated multipurpose metal building to Carlton, Minnesota, in mid-November 2023.

Engineered for Minnesota’s variable climate and customized to meet the client’s needs, the building features a heavy snow load, rugged, reliable steel construction and a high-performance insulation system. In the roof is a high R-value, R-38 fiberglass insulation system with heavy-duty VRR+ facing covering the blankets and giving the building’s interior a clean, finished look. The walls hold R-25 fiberglass insulation blankets, and 12 doors distributed throughout the steel building also feature insulation, creating a comfortable, energy-efficient environment with minimal heat loss.

The eight large overhead doors in the building all have remotes for easy operation, allowing for fast, convenient access to vehicles, large equipment or other goods stored inside. Metal Building Outlet also included an engineered foundation design plan along with the pre-engineered building components needed for this project to steer the process of pouring the foundation and enhance the metal building’s stability.
