Prefabricated Metal Building in Durango, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building in Durango, Colorado, in February of 2022.

Durable and easy to raise, the building is comprised of heavy-duty steel parts and stands 79.5’x125’x16’ when erect. Overhead, it features a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch, and (24) framed door and window openings are additional customizations.

Found throughout the building are (5) 6070 openings for walk doors, (5) 14’x14’ overhead door openings, (10) 4030 window openings, and (4) 3070 openings housing (4) 3070 20-gauge commercial walk doors with lever locks. The steel building also has 2’ overhangs along its front and back sidewalls, creating additional covered space, and 4’ of wainscoting along the front side wall, which improves its aesthetics.

In consideration of the climate characteristics of the area and the heavy seasonal snowfall it often sees, a 50-PSF roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating serve as additional enhancements.
