Metal Building Outlet secured this custom metal building for a client in Hickory, Kentucky, in early June of 2025.

Spacious and multifunctional, the structure spans 63,000 square feet and offers the durability and structural integrity industrial and manufacturing efforts demand. Designed for heavy foot traffic and frequent, year-round use, the metal industrial building features a high-performance insulation package for climate control, with 9.5” of R-30 fiberglass insulation in the roof and 6” of R-19 insulation in the walls.

In addition to creating a more comfortable work environment, the insulation also helps muffle manufacturing noise and control condensation, boosting structural integrity. Custom-designed in line with the owner’s needs and wants, the steel building also features multiple door openings for easy access and gutters and downspouts that prevent rain or snow from collecting on the building’s mostly flat roof.
