Metal Building Outlet delivered these (3) pre-engineered metal buildings in Petaluma, California, in January of 2022.

Durable, insulated, and highly energy-efficient, the rugged, highly customized metal buildings all serve as shops. The first building, Building A, is 60’x49’x16’ when raised, while Buildings B and C are equal in size, with each standing 14’x49’x11.6”/14’. All (3) metal shops have clear spans that create open, column-free interiors, and Building A sports a hardy gable roof with a 3:12 pitch overhead, while Buildings B and C feature single-slope roofs with 2:12 pitches.

Distributed among the shop buildings are (9) framed door and window openings. There are (2) 12’x14’ overhead door openings, (1) 8’x8’ overhead door opening, (2) 3’x7’ walk door openings, and (4) 4’x4’ windows.

A high-performance insulation package keeps interior temperatures consistent, and the energy bills associated with the property low. In the roofs of the buildings are 6” layers of R-19 insulation, while the walls of the shops contain 4” of R-13 insulation. The metal shops also feature 115-mph wind ratings that comply with local building codes and gutters and downspouts, which help prevent condensation and water damage.
