Insulated and highly customized throughout, the metal building functions as a shop and features sustainable, fire-resistant steel construction. Standing 45’x80’x18’, it has an open, unobstructed clear span and high ceilings that enhance versatility.

Overhead, the metal shop features a heavy-duty Galvalume gable roof with a modest 2:12 pitch, and (11) framed door and skylight openings allow access and natural light inside. Located throughout the metal building are (2) 12’x14’ openings enclosing (2) 12’x14’ DBCI 2500 Series roll-coil doors with chain hoists and (1) 10’x12’ opening holding (1) 10’x12’ DBCI 2500 Series roll-coil door with a chain hoist.

Also included are (2) 3’4”x7’2” framed openings enclosing (2) steel insulated commercial walk doors with lever locksets and (6) light-transmitting skylight panels. The shop also contains a combination of R-19 and R-13 vinyl-faced insulation in its roof and walls, which helps keep energy expenses low and interior temperatures comfortable and consistent.

A 110-mph wind load is another addition that keeps the steel shop compliant with local building codes.
