Insulated, energy-efficient and engineered for its specific climate and location, the metal building now functions as a shop and features top-quality steel construction. When raised, the building stands an expansive 55’x100’x18’/22’7”, boasting a broad clear span and high ceilings that enhance functionality and versatility.

Offering protection from above is a rugged, reliable Galvalume single-slope roof with a 1:12 pitch, and (2) framed openings offer easy access inside. The steel shop features (1) 16’x12’ overhead door opening and (1) 3070 walk door opening.

An insulation package serves as another key feature, with 3” of R-10 VPR insulation installed within the roof and walls. The roof and wall insulation keeps the building’s energy expenses low, and it also helps make it suitable for year-round usage.

Other noteworthy customizations include a 7-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating, which keep the steel shop compliant with building and engineering codes in place across Perkins.
