Pair of Prefabricated Steel Buildings in Idaho Falls, Idaho

Metal Building Outlet supplied these two custom-designed prefabricated steel commercial buildings for a full-service concrete company in Idaho Falls, Idaho, sending the building kits to the business address in November 2024.

Ideal for heavy industrial use thanks to their superior strength and durability and ease of maintenance, these two buildings offer a combined 15,600 square feet of open interior space the business owner can use to house supplies, equipment, machinery and other materials needed for their residential and commercial concrete projects. Both buildings are highly energy efficient and comfortable inside, with an R-35 long-tab banded insulation system in the roofs and R-25 Energy Saver insulation systems in the walls.

Designed to sit atop 2’ stem walls, both structures have engineered foundation designs also provided by Metal Building Outlet. The smaller of the two buildings also has a 10-pound wall load for a firewall and a 24’x46’ mezzanine with pan decking for 4” of lightweight concrete. The larger building has wainscoting along one wall that boosts its curb appeal, and both metal commercial buildings have gutters and downspouts along their northern-facing sides and 2’ eave and rake extensions on three sides.

Several large windows let sun stream inside the pair of buildings, creating a well-lit environment for work and storage. Flexible and multifunctional, these two metal commercial buildings offer the space, durability and versatility needed to support the concrete company’s growth for years to come.
