Prefabricated Metal Shop Buildings in Dodge City, Kansas

Metal Building Outlet secured this pair of pre-engineered metal shop buildings for a client in Dodge City, Kansas, in early August of 2025.

Attractive, versatile and custom-designed to suit their geography and the owner’s vision, the buildings offer a combined 2,290 square feet of open floor space ideal for storage, fabrication, automotive maintenance, tinkering or any number of similar needs. Equal parts functional and aesthetically appealing, the shops have corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel walls with Colonial Red roofs and Black trim, giving them a traditional, barn-like look.

A high R-value insulation system makes the structures energy efficient and well-suited for year-round use in the Midwest, with R-30 multilayer fiberglass insulation systems installed in their roofs and R-25 single-layer system lining the shops’ walls. The metal buildings also feature traditional walk doors as well as overhead garage doors, allowing for easy movement in and out.

Delivered to the erection site already partway assembled to speed up and simplify erection, these prefabricated steel shops can accommodate any number of needs, functioning as reliable storage solutions, work spaces or hobby areas, among other applications. They also require very little in terms of ongoing maintenance compared to other construction types, needing little more than a quick power wash to maintain their exterior appeal.
