Metal Building Outlet provided this prefabricated metal building in New Berlin, Illinois, in late July 2022.

The Cool White steel shop with Royal Blue trim is 65’x125’x22’ and has customizations throughout ranging from a high R-value Energy Saver roof and wall insulation system to 4’ of wainscoting with transition trim along all sides. Comprised of ultra-durable steel parts, the shop has a wide clear span and high ceilings that make it well-suited for industrial or warehouse use, and its roof is comprised of corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel paneling and has a 2:12 pitch.

There are (4) doors, which include (2) 16’x16’ overhead doors holding (2) 16’x16’ Amarr Series 2432 White insulated overhead doors with openers and (2) 3’x7’ door openings holding (2) White steel walk doors. On the roof, it has 6” of insulation in the cavity and another 3.5” overlay, creating a high R-value, R-30 insulation system. The walls contain R-25 Energy Saver insulation, with the roof and wall insulation leading to low energy bills all year for the building owner despite the large space.

Additional upgrades include a 20-PSF snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating; inclusions made in line with local building codes.
