Multipurpose Metal Building Supplied in Dolores, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied the building kit for what would become a multipurpose metal building in Dolores, Colorado.

The client needed MBO to supply the frame, roof and insulation for this building project, with delivery taking place in March of 2023. The metal building has high snow loads and features upgrades throughout ranging from a spandrel beam that allows for the addition of a stud wall to a painted 26-guage roof with a full liner that creates a continuous vapor barrier overhead.

Both of the steel building’s end walls have 5’ overhangs, and both sidewalls feature 27” overhangs, offering protection for the exterior walls. The building’s single-slope roof also has gutters and downspouts installed along it, helping rain and snow drain off easily.

The roof also has a double-layer banded insulation system, which keeps the inside comfortable year-round while guarding against condensation and lowering heating and cooling bills.
