Insulated Steel Shop in Kremmling, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet sent this cold-formed steel building kit to a client in Kremmling, Colorado, in March 2023.

Featuring a bright Patriot Red exterior and complementing Forest Green architectural trim, the insulated metal shop building has an open, column-free interior that frees up plenty of storage or work space. The building’s cold-formed construction method made the steel components lighter and easier to work with, and the lighter-weight components also resulted in lower shipping costs for the buyer.

The clear-span steel shop has 6” of R-19 fiberglass insulation installed in its roof and walls. The insulation blankets keep heating and cooling bills low, even during Kremmling’s long cold winters. They also help protect the building from condensation and mold growth. Rugged VRR+ facing lines the interior-facing side of the insulation blankets, which gives the inside of the shop a clean, finished look.
