Insulated, energy efficient and customized to meet the owner’s precise needs, the building now serves miscellaneous purposes and is 50’x50’x14’ in size. Overhead, a painted gable roof comprised of rugged Galvalume steel sheeting offers protection from the Pacific Northwest elements and has a 1:12 pitch.
The metal building has (7) framed door and window openings that allow access and natural sunlight inside. An insulation package keeps energy expenses low and the building’s interior comfortable, regardless of outside climate conditions. In the roof is a 6” layer of R-19 insulation, while the walls contain a 4” layer of R-13 insulation.
The steel building also has several climate-related enhancements, including gutters, downspouts, a 115-mph wind load and a 35-psf roof snow load.
