Multipurpose Metal Building in Rexburg, Idaho

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered multipurpose metal building in Rexburg, Idaho, in December of 2021.

Energy efficient and easy to erect, the metal building stands 50’x90’x16’/20.7’ when raised and has an open, clear-span design that maximizes usable floor space. Overhead, a durable, corrosion-resistant single-slope roof with a 1:12 pitch offers protection from the Idaho elements, and (7) framed door openings are additional customizations that allow building users and equipment inside.

Distributed throughout the metal building are (4) 3070 walk door openings enclosing (4) 3070 pre-hung walk doors with lever locks, (2) 14’x14’ overhead door openings holding (2) 14’x14’ Series 2412 overhead sectional doors with windows and (1) 10’x10’ overhead door opening enclosing (1) 10’x10’ Series 2412 overhead sectional door with windows.

The prefabricated steel building also has 6” of R-19 insulation installed in its roof and walls, which lowers heating and cooling costs over the lifetime of the building while helping guard against condensation and water damage. A wind load of 115 mph and a roof snow load of 35 psf are additional customizations made in adherence to local building codes.
