Metal Building Outlet supplied this customized metal shop building for a client in Boerne, Texas.
The owner wanted a versatile, heavily insulated shop to use throughout the year in Texas, and Metal Building Outlet delivered, supplying this clear-span steel building in March of 2023. The shop has an open interior and high ceilings that provide plenty of interior space for work or storage, and it also has (20) doors in a variety of sizes that make it easy to move small and large goods in and out.
The steel building kit includes a high-performance insulation package. In its roof, the building has a 9.5” R-30 long tab-banded Energy Saver insulation system, while the walls of the shop contain 8” of R-25 Energy Saver insulation. The insulation system helps the inside of the building retain heat in the winter while helping prevent heat from entering during the summer.
The metal shop building also has (2) 25’ and (2) 21’ parapets along the walls, giving the shop a clean, uniform look while helping keep the interior watertight.
