Insulated Prefab. Steel Shop in Akron, Colorado

A client in Akron, Colorado, needed a heavily insulated metal building to use as a shop and purchased this pre-engineered steel building kit through Metal Building Outlet in mid-August 2023.

The clear-span metal shop building has Ash Gray exterior walls, Charcoal trim and an open floorplan due to its clear-span design. It features rugged, durable steel construction that holds its own in the face of inclement weather, extreme temperatures and other hazards and has 6” of VRR+-faced insulation in its roof and another 4” of R-13 insulation in the walls. The roof and wall insulation keeps heating and cooling bills low while enhancing comfort inside, and it also serves as a layer of protection against condensation and water damage.

Ideal for serving as a storage area, workspace or garage, the metal shop arrived onsite already partway put together, reducing construction time and lowering associated expenses.
