Insulated Metal Shop in Berry, Alabama

When a resident of Berry, Alabama, wanted a customized, climate-controlled metal shop building, he turned to Metal Building Outlet, and the two worked in close conjunction to design a building that would meet the owner’s needs.

Delivered to the customer’s jobsite in April 2023, the spacious, clear-span metal building has a Steel Gray exterior with matching trim and an open interior that makes it suitable for many different uses. Large windows throughout give the inside of the shop a bright, airy look and feel, and the building also features a 3’x3’ louver vent that draws fresh, clean air inside.

The shop’s roof and walls contain high R-value insulation. In the roof is a multilayer, R-30 White Energy Saver insulation system (6” in the cavity and another 3.5” overlay) and an 8”, R-25 White Energy Saver insulation system sits within the walls. The shop also has Steel Gray gutters and downspouts that match the exterior walls and prevent rain and snow from collecting on top of the building.
