Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Hutchinson, Kansas, in August of 2021.

Now undergoing agricultural use, the building is comprised of rugged, sustainable steel components and stands 36’x44’x12’ when raised. It has a clear span that doesn’t rely on any interior trusses or supports, maximizing usable floor space, and overhead, a durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof with a 2:12 pitch provides reliable protection from the elements.

The steel agricultural building has (4) framed door openings throughout, which include (1) 12’x10’ overhead door opening and (3) 9’x7’ overhead door openings. A liner panel covers the walls and ceiling of the building, giving the interior of the steel farm building a clean, complete look. A 20-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional customizations made in adherence to local building codes.

Located in south-central Kansas, the city of Hutchinson is the county seat of Reno County. The community lies roughly 40 miles northwest of Wichita and about 200 miles outside Kansas City.
