Garage Building in Hollister, California

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel garage building for a customer in Hollister, California in April of 2016.

Now used as a shop, the building stands 70’x50’x18’ in size and is crafted from premium-quality steel components. Its roof is made of hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 1:12 roof pitch. Inside the building are (8) framed openings varying in size and function. Included are (4) 12’x14’ openings with (4) 12’x14’ commercial roll-coil doors with chain hoists, (3) 3070 opens enclosing (3) 3070 steel walk doors and (1) 6’x10’ opening. The shop building also features (2) 70’ transverse partition walls and (1) longitudinal partition wall. In consideration of the climate and weather patterns typical of the Hollister area, a wind speed of 110 mph was included during the construction process.

A part of central California’s San Benito County, the city of Hollister is situated about 48 miles outside Los Gatos and about 28 miles outside Salinas.
