Metal Building Outlet secured this pair of prefabricated steel buildings on behalf of a customer in Goldsboro, North Carolina in early March of 2020.

Rugged, built to last and insulated to maximize energy efficiency, the (2) buildings serve as shops and offer uncompromised strength and durability. Comprised of premium-quality steel parts, the first shop stands 60’x140’x20’ in size, while the second is 100’x40’x12’ upon erection.

Both buildings feature striking, Light Stone-colored exteriors, and they both have robust and corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel roofs with slight 1:12 pitches offering protection from above. Distributed between them are (24) door and window openings, which include (3) 16’x16’ overhead door openings, (1) 12’x12’ door opening, (1) 3070 walk door opening and (1) 6070 walk door opening. As far as windows, the pair of buildings feature (9) 2’6”x3’6” windows and (9) 5’x3’6” windows that allow natural sunlight inside.

The shops also feature high-performance insulation packages that dramatically reduce energy expenses associated with the address. In their roofs, they have high R-value, R-30 fiberglass insulation, while their walls house layers of R-25 insulation.
