Metal Building in Danville, Missouri

Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal building on behalf of a customer in Danville, Missouri, in March of 2020.

Currently in use as a workshop, the insulated, energy-efficient steel building is 40’x60’x13’in size and has an open, clear-span design that maximizes floor space by eliminating the need for interior columns and supports. Comprised of heavy-duty steel parts, it offers unsurpassed structural integrity, and its roof features rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal paneling and has an 11:12 pitch.

The steel shop has (4) framed openings varying in size that offer convenient access inside. Included are (2) 9’x8’ openings, (1) 10’x10’ opening and (1) 3070 walk door opening enclosing (1) 3070 walk door.

The workshop also has a layer of R-19 insulation in its roof, which boosts energy efficiency, thereby lowering the building’s lifelong power bills. Other customizations made with respect for the climate of Danville and the building codes in place at the property address include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 20-psf snow load.

Danville is a small, census-designated area located in Missouri’s Montgomery County. It sits about 80 miles outside St. Louis and about 500 miles from O’Fallon.
