Highly energy efficient and well-equipped for Colorado’s distinct seasonal weather patterns, the building features top-quality steel construction, resulting in unmatched durability. Now in use as a shop, it boasts a finished size of 60’x112’x18’, while a heavy-duty, Charcoal Grey roof with a 3:12 pitch offers overhead protection from the elements.

The steel workshop features (7) framed openings that make for easy accessibility, among them (3) 24’x16’ openings, (2) 3070 walk door openings and (2) 10’x10’ openings. An insulation package comprised of R-19 roof insulation and R-13 wall insulation serves as another shop customization, which helps lower the building’s energy bills while helping users stay comfortable, regardless of time of year.

Other workshop customizations added in compliance with local building code requirements include a 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.

Part of northeastern Colorado’s Morgan County, Fort Morgan is largely an agricultural community. It sits roughly 80 miles outside Denver and about 60 miles from Greeley.
