In use as a shop, it has a clear-span design that eliminates the need for interior columns or supports, and a hardwearing Galvalume gable roof with a 4:12 pitch offers protection overhead.
Installed in the roof is a high R-value, R-30 Energy Saver insulation system, while the walls of the steel shop contain an R-25 Energy Saver insulation system. The insulation system keeps the shop’s interior temperatures comfortable and consistent, and it also leads to lower heating and cooling bills throughout the building’s lifetime.
Additional customizations include a 21-psf roof snow load and an upgraded, 120-mph wind speed rating; additions made with regard for the building and engineering codes in place at the build site.
